1. Data we process

Account data: company name, names, email addresses and the contact email given at sign-up.

Content you store: emails, attachments, files and notes. We process them only to provide the service to you; we do not read them, sell them or use them for advertising.

Technical data: IP addresses, sign-in times and server logs, used to keep the service secure and to fix problems.

2. Why we process it

To provide the service you signed up for, to secure accounts (for example to stop password guessing), to contact you about your account, and to meet our legal obligations.

3. Where your data is

Our mail servers are hosted in France, in the European Union. Stored files and email content are kept with our storage provider. Data always travels over encrypted connections.

Our providers (hosting, storage and DNS) only process data on our instructions.

4. Cookies

We only use cookies that are needed for the service: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and protecting sign-in and sign-up. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is open. When an account is closed, its content is deleted. Some billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, and object to its processing, by writing to hello@birooo.com. You can also contact the CNDP (Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel).
